Responsible for quoting materials on printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and final assembly (FA) projects. Utilize automated quoting tools and become the subject matter expert on optimizing the use of quote automation to eliminate labor intensive manual steps in the quoting process. Work with the Quote Process Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Business Development Engineer to integrate material pricing into the final quote. Solicit the assistance from technical experts as needed. Support quoting process to yield 95% accuracy and average 3 day turn around.

Manage and execute direct ship order fulfillment services including domestic and international shipments to big box retailers, distribution centers, and on-line direct customer fulfillment.
This position is a lead role in organizing, directing, and developing Vergent Products direct order fulfillment practice and services.
Ability to communicate effectively with people within and outside the organization.
Ability to exercise independent judgment to ensure a quality customer experience.
Knowledge of freight, logistics, warehouse, and distribution systems and practices.
Computer literacy skills including ability to manipulate spreadsheets, integrate data between disparate applications, compose and send email, and navigate a variety of retailer/carrier order submission web sites/systems.
Ability to execute daily tasks without direct supervision and to guide others.
Commitment to client satisfaction, quality improvement, teamwork, and personal development with a sense of urgency.
2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, order fulfillment, and shipping practices.
Associates degree in logistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Openings are based on business need.
Safely test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair to component level any electronic and/or electro-mechanical products from written documentation (procedures, schematics, etc). Tasks and duties will vary according to the assignment and may include new production build, customer returns, warranty products or incoming assemblies.
Identifies root cause of failures and fix defective products. Report actual and potential quality issues for corrective/preventative action.
Manages time and resources to ensure on-time delivery of product at or below standard times without direct supervision.
Completes work according to relevant standards (IPC). Provide training and auditing of production personnel to ensure relevant standards are met.
Makes recommendations to improve quality, increase productivity, manufacturability, or reduce cost.
Trains and directs others to carry out established procedures.
Performs deep component level troubleshooting from theory of operation and schematics. Performs 2nd order root cause failure analysis.
Performs defined maintenance procedures on complex machines and test equipment.
Sets up new products in existing processes (simple machine programming or recipe selection).
Evaluates alternative processes, tools and equipment for manufacturing and makes recommendations to improve production procedures.
Implements recommendations to improve quality, increase productivity, manufacturability, or reduce cost. Work with production to achieve zero manufacturing defects and field failures.
Builds complex prototypes from customer/designer documents.
Creates VERGENT test procedures or equipment from customer/designer documents or specifications.
Defines preventative maintenance requirements and procedures for equipment according to Total Productive Maintenance principles.
Identifies quality trends from production or warranty events (without direction) then leads formal process improvement efforts and corrective/preventative action to change work practices using established Quality System procedures.
Translates industry best practices and applicable standards into VERGENT procedures and methods.
