Equipment Maintenance Technician

Equipment Maintenance Technician

Would you like to maintain and improve some very cool complex multi-disciplined production machines?  Our success is built on high-speed electronic component pick and place, automated optical inspection, robotic soldering, complex assembly, and the awesome skill of our assemblers.   But someone must keep these awesome machines humming – is this you?  We embrace Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles to prevent downtime and continuously improve our equipment.  This is not a “wait for it to break and fix it” maintenance job.  Your focus is on prevention.  You will be analyzing maintenance requirements, teaching the operators autonomous maintenance practice, and most importantly continuously improving the equipment and preventative procedures.  Of course, if it does break you have to fix it and you will have to perform or teach others the preventive maintenance procedure you have improved.

You will need an AAS degree in electronics or equivalent plus a good understanding of electro-mechanics or robotics.  Some experience in complex equipment maintenance in a production environment is very helpful.
